I met Hannah and her family last weekend at Pittville Park for some family photos. With drizzle in the air, the weather wasn’t at its best, but the Pump Rooms and bandstand provided some welcome cover.

We met at the Boathouse on the opposite side of the park to the Pump Rooms, where we tried to engage their little one in some games on the stepping stones and swings with Granny and Grandpa. It took him a little while to warm up to the idea, and having a two year old of my own, his parents had my full sympathy, as he threw himself on the floor in refusal to participate! Patience often wins the day though, and I have plenty of it. I suggested we walk over to the Pump Rooms which would offer a little bit more shelter. Mum and Dad took the opportunity to give him some snacks and by the time we reached the bandstand, he was all smiles and ready to go. Below are just a small selection of images that Hannah received.
